The Wagner Training Institute’s Apprentise Technician Progam is a two-year progam. This progam is free to accepted applicants. Both Colorado and New Mexico accept up to 20 students into this program. You’ll receive both classroom and in-shop training and you’ll get paid for in-shop training.

The Fast Track Program for Wagner Equipment Co. is designed for those who have already graduated from a Technical College. You will have the opportunity to learn in a classroom environment through our Wagner Training Institute while also gaining hands-on experience working for the Colorado, New Mexico, and far West Texas Caterpillar dealership.
Training Programs begin in January and July of each year and run s for 6 months, with 3 months at Wagner Training Institute (WTI) and 3 months in the shop. Click the button below for the detailed program flyer.
Wagner’s Field Service technicians bring the parts, tools, and expertise to equipment that can’t be brought into our shops due to its size or location.
Our technicians work in a state-of-the-art facility performing a range of services from general maintenance to major repairs on machines of all sizes.
The Power System’s technician performs mechanical and electrical service of the engine/generator package and perform electrical repairs on associated components of the power distribution system such as transfer switches, breakers, relays, switchgear, and more.
As a Wagner Rents Equipment Technician, you determine the status of services needed for various heavy and light rental equipment and perform the necessary repairs and maintenance to restore the equipment to proper operation.
