TYPES OF TECHNICIANS
FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN
Wagner’s field service technicians bring the parts, tools, and their expertise to equipment that can’t be brought into our shops due to size, circumstance, or location.
Our technicians work in a state-of-the-art facility performing a range of services from general maintenance to major repairs on machines of all sizes.
POWER SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN
The Power Systems technician performs mechanical and electrical service of the engine/generator package and electrical repairs on associated components of the power distribution system such as transfer switches, breakers, relays, switchgear, and more.
As an equipment technician for Wagner Rents (Wagner Equipment Co.'s small machine sales and rental arm), you determine the status of services needed for various heavy and light rental equipment and perform the necessary repairs and maintenance to restore the equipment to proper operation.

Wagner Equipment Co. offers a 401K and a Roth 401K Plan. Eligible employees can receive a company contribution of up to 7%.
SICK LEAVE & VACATION
Starting day one, employees begin to accrue 1 hour per 30 hours worked. This time can be used for health & safety needs of the employee or family. After 90 days of continuous employment, employees receive 96 hours of vacation time. This time renews every year and increases after 1, 5, 10, 15, & 20 years. Employees also get 8 paid holidays.
EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (EAP)
Counseling, referral and resources are available from Unum Insurance to help with personal, legal and financial issues. Free and confidential, 7 days a week and 24 hours per day.
The company offers short term and long term disability benefits to provide a significant safety net in case of disability. Company Paid after 180 days of continuous employment.
COMPANY PAID LIFE INSURANCE
Basic group life insurance. Additional supplemental life and accident insurance for employee and family members is available.
SERVICE DEPARTMENT BENEFITS
Wagner supports our service team with useful and valuable benefits including tool allowance, prescription safety glasses/safety shoe reimbursement programs, other needed personal protective equipment, and company-paid uniforms and laundry service.
Service includes low interest loans that can be repaid by payroll deduction, savings accounts using payroll deduction, Visa card, and share drafts (similar to a checking account).
