ProductLink
is a device that comes standard equipped on every Caterpillar machine. ProductLink collects and transmits machine operating and health information using cell phone or satellite technology. There are several types of ProductLink Devices.
The two most common Cat ProductLink Devices are:
PL641
On standard equipped units it enables you to collect hours, location, and information from the machine’s electronic control modules (ECM) like engine, transmission, and hydraulic health.
PL542
On retro-fitted units it enables you to collect hours, location and available ECM information depending on the machine. The PL542 is the best option for retrofitting your Caterpillar or non-Cat equipment. The PL542 is plug-and-play for most applications.

Analyze basic data FREE for life. Each Cat machine reports updated basic data once per day.
VisionLink Daily
Analyze your data through VisionLink for $75 per year per unit. Use our fully functional and robust equipment management platform for viewing, analyzing and reporting of your machine’s health. Each machine reports updated data once per day, such as automated job site reports and fleet benchmarking.
VisionLink Premium
Analyze your data through VisionLink for $300 per year per unit. With VisionLink Premium, users can leverage the full power of VisionLink Unified Suite of products, up to hourly reporting to maximize equipment life, reduce downtime and control costs. (Free for six months on new machine purchases.)
