CAT HAMMERS

Before jackhammers, demolition was a long, tedious, and back-breaking process. Every stone and other material had to be broken up by hand with simple tools, such as a hammer and a chisel. Then you had to load all of the material up by hand and have it hauled away by a team of oxen or by using horse power. It was excruciating to say the least.
